This project is designed to inspire one billion people to take action for the conservation and preservation of our Earth, its natural resources and its people.
Recent events in the Gulf of Mexico, specifically the BP Oil Spill, was cause for alarm regarding our ongoing dependence and need for oil based products. With over 30 years in the promotion of art whose voice, imagery and intent was to raise awareness in order to protect environmental habitat and its wildlife, it is realized that with the occurrence of this event, Founder Sian Lindeman, has not had one iota of influence or impact to that which she has been devoted for 30 years of her life...
to define the quintessential connection between man and nature....through art...which would, in fact, bring greater awareness and an intrinsic desire to protect.
I failed. BP failed. Humanity failed.
And with massive failure ....comes massive opportunity.
"Walk One Mile" is just such an opportunity
