The most profound truth and advice that I can give is
"MAKE A DECISION"
You can have either, success or struggle, and it is a choice.
You can succeed which will mean alot of work, some sleepless nights, a whole lot of creativity and a whole lot of faith in your capability.
Or you can struggle, which is alot of work, lots of sleepless nights, a whole lot of creativity to keep thinking up reasons why you are failing, and holding onto a belief that perhaps this is essential in order to "become" valuable.
After 30 years, a whole lot of consultations with other artists, and alot of activity in the promotion of my own art forms...the constant is but one thing
ACTION...
Take action ~ The Universe.....and less esoteric, "life" is always in motion..... Discover what you LOVE....and of course you all know what those things are....
The things that you'll jump out of bed at 4 AM to do......and never have to be asked twice....
DO them....and then call me We'll help you to monetize them.

I've been saying this for 30 years. The right steps in the right order...make things happen.... Just like making YOUR "stuff"
and sort of like Sesame Street and Making Chocolate Moose...
First you get the MOOSE and then you put the chocolate ON THE MOOSE.......thus Chocolate Moose..... and is of course different and unique from what we've come to know as Mousse au chocolat.
Think Backwards....... Find the result... Walk backwards....
How did you get there....? Creativity is an amazing thing.... It works in both directions.....

I have traveled most of my life. In fact, just recently I retired my suitcases to a more bucolic life in living and working a "hobby" farm in NW Washington State.
There is, however, one destination to which I would love to travel.... Maachi Piichu in Peru is ON the list.....
I have long had a passion for Peruvian Paso Horses...... and the manner by which I determined to be able to travel to this destination is in a way that is no different from how I have live my whole life.
Designing a way to pay myself to do what I want to do.... and the project is now ready for launch....

When I started to promote artists I did not KNOW how to promote the arts.
I'm going to say that again.... When I started to promote artists ( back in 1980 ) I did not know HOW to promote artists
nor did I know HOW to sell art.
What I did know is that I LOVE beautiful things. I love to own beautiful things, and each day it gives me great pleasure to view, wear or experience beauty, whether its the simple pleasure of viewing or meandering through my garden, lighting upon a painting that hangs on the wall of my home....
wearing a piece of beautiful jewelry or baking a delightful pan of homemade bread.
I live for beauty.
I love how I feel when I am surrounded by beauty.
I love to SHARE beautiful things, art, sculpture landscape design, architecture, photography
with OTHER people.....
In light of this ... THE simple question is DO YOU LOVE being an artist ?
DO you LOVE sharing your art work ?
And most importantly DO YOU LOVE selling your work ?
