If Your Intuition Were A Person

The secret of fortune is joy in our hands. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
If you could picture your intuition as a person, what would he or she look like? If you sat down together for dinner, what is the first thing he or she would tell you?"
This is a powerful request....
As soon as I read the brief
I burst into tears...
and then by coincidence...
and how utterly perfect
did I pull up this blog post
which I had completely forgotten
that I had ever written...

that which depicts one person who "moved" my soul
into an essential point from which to "rise"
He is an artist, designer, restauranteur from Calgary
with whom I developed a friendship and a "secret" and abiding
love life....
It was not,however, realized in "real" terms
but the prowess by which this
artist created....
so inspired and so moved my soul
and its expression
into form, color, music, movement, enchantment,
and rapture...
that all days forward of our meeting
were explosive creativity ...
realized.
I was never to be the same.
It was not ever to be "about" him as a lover or partner,
as that kind of exchange never found fruition....
yet,
I am not the same for the experience of knowing him....
I became More...
I became what I was intended here to be.
I fell deeply into love...
and into the expression of it, thereof...
through art as a painter, designer, photographer...
and many, many
forms....
I realized myself...
and my "muse" was my catalyst.
In him I saw myself
and it was
acknowledged ...
We...
are kindred spirits...
To think of him now...
brings tears to my eyes....
Joy to my soul...
and rapture to my expression....
and longing for that which is known
so purely in and of the heart.
That which is known so essentially to the soul...
and that which we allow to rest, sleep, lay dormant....
while thinking what we are doing
IS what is important....
and from this view
that effort
simply is
trite
and a most shallow attempt
at being human.
In this moment the well pool deepens
and is refreshing.
It is a reminder.
It is a memory
of what has always been
and will forever forever be
the quintessential core of truth,
and cannot be conveyed in words...
or in a glance....
but to the bottom of the toes is
known....
now and forever.
in this life, present,
past and future....
infinite, and oh so intimate.
Sian .... my name and my path... of Mayan Origin.....
meaning "Where the Sky is Born" and "gift"

To Own My own home in which I now reside but am only renting.
To at long last get a handle on my health and a devoted exercise regimin.
GREAT time to ask this question
because TODAY after four years of chasing the dream
all three are becoming a reality.
It has taken more time, tears, labor and focus than
anything I have ever done before in my life....
and the outcome
More positive and fulfilling than anything I have ever done.

Dare To Be Bold
Dare To Be Bold

I've never shied away from being bold.
The challenge for me
is to find a way to be bold while not feeling guilty
or feeling sad about those
that I sometimes have to leave behind while
continuing to blaze a trail.
The Dream and Large Scale Vision for me
is to create an entertainment concept that is a
cross between Cirque de Soleil and Imax Theaters...
Minus the "bendy" people...
Having posted, presented, pitched to JUST about everyone
ON earth...
while receiving somewhat the "deer in the headlights"
kind of response.....

I have the first indication of a source of capital
that may very well FIT the bill...
The plan...
Do it NOW...
NEVER give up on your crazy brilliant ideas.
and Live like this were you last day on earth.

Five Years
"What would you say to the person you were five years ago?
What will you say to the person you’ll be in five years?"
To the person I was five years ago....."You don't need a man in your life to make you "whole" ~ My life and how I live it is what makes me whole....
Seeking partnership with a man, and approaching the quest something like a "business agenda" proved fruitful in a variety of ways.
I did fall in love...it was unrequited....it did, however, make me aware of just how much love I have in my heart and how very much I have to share....
and to those and with those who do not "get" me and and did not wish to continue a love affair with me...and my heart...I wish them well on their journey, for in that quest I found, at last, that I am enough.
It appears that I have many lessons to learn about letting go of attachment to those things that I love so dearly...yet as I learn this lesson I am more and more fulfilled by the simplest of exchanges....
I do still need and want resolution in certain circumstances...and if it is not
"given" with ease it is indeed troublesome to my heart....
I have learned that people impose GREAT pain on one another and I used to think they did not know the difference..... I think sometimes that they do know the difference...yet remain indifferent.
It is why and ongoingly that I fall more and more in love with plants and animals in the natural world...
One always knows where one stands.
As to what I would say to my future self....
This may indeed be one of the most selfish sounding things
ever uttered from my finger tips....
I've spent a lifetime helping others grow in their creative careers....
For this time....and in future years....I am going to be selfish for a while
and focus on that which pleases me "first"
Its a strange realization .... but I have SO much more
for others when I give myself
the benefit of the fruits of my labor first....
and I only realize this now...
In five years I will be 59 years old....and having just witnessed Kirstie Ally on Dancing With the Stars.....60 can be a time of renewal...and a continued committment to living life with GREAT gusto....

Travel

I have traveled most of my life. In fact, just recently I retired my suitcases to a more bucolic life in living and working a "hobby" farm in NW Washington State.
There is, however, one destination to which I would love to travel....
Maachi Piichu in Peru is ON the list.....
I have long had a passion for Peruvian Paso Horses......
and the manner by which I determined to be able to travel to this destination
is in a way that is no different from how I have live my whole life.
Designing a way to pay myself to do what I want to do....
and the project is now ready for launch....

Do it now !
There is nothing so terrifying
as to hold back the burning desire
that is in your heart
as to sit now at the end of my life and to have any regrets
would indeed change how at peace I feel knowing that I have
truly
LIVED
I've asked myself this question so often.....have I lived today?
and everyday I say the same thing....
I have lived.
I have risked.
I have loved.
I have no regrets
I have known the depth and breadth of my humanity.
and I love myself....
I am a treasure and I have treasured
every moment of my passionate connection
with source, with nature, and with that
that is the very essence of life.
And I have been blessed to have been able to "see"
I have been blessed to be able to recognize and know truth,
to know what is behind the words, behind the thoughts,
behind the actions.
To know...
It IS extraordinary, and beautiful
and rich
and ecstatic....
I am blessed..
I have been blessed
and I am a blessing to those who know me..
Beauty...
is the gift
I have been blessed to give unto the world.
